Alternatives: Prevention and Intervention for Alcohol and Drug Problems in Seniors, a community education resource program, is a prevention and intervention for alcohol and drug problems in seniors. Alternatives include a video as well as print materials for two workshop presentations on alcohol and other depressant drugs, one for seniors and one for those who work with seniors.
The resource is a cooperative effort by the Addiction Research foundation of Ontario, LESA and the Community Older Persons Alcohol Program (COPA) in Toronto and includes a video and two workshop kits.
