The Royal Newfoundland Regiment 200th Anniversary celebrations are a series of projects and events that highlight the history and continuing service of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment. The initiatives are divided into those specific to serving members and those accessible to the public.
The Department of National Defence has, at several levels, supported the committee by
making available public funds for training and ceremonial events in accordance with past fiscal commitments for similar events. These funds have been used for parades and band concerts run by the serving members of the Regiment.
The committee itself, through a successful promotion and fund-raising drive, has completed over 30 initiatives for this milestone anniversary. These include the publication of a Regimental history, production of a recording by the Regimental Band, production of a limited edition montage poster and a series of souvenir items.
