The Jewish Hospice Program is a coordinated program providing compassionate home-centred care to terminally ill Jewish patients and their families, and care givers.
Active and supportive care is directed toward meeting the physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual needs of the patients and their families and care givers. Hospice care is delivered by an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, home-care aides, volunteers and family members. Hospice services are provided in the patient's own home. Respite for the family and care givers will be available when needed.
