Life prints is a workshop which encourages young women to engage in career and life planning. Using a variety of visual aids, games and small group activities the Life prints program encourages heightened awareness of the issues facing women today; provides current information on Canadian women; and stresses the importance of
having personal, economic stability.
The four-hour workshop is delivered to girls in schools, youth groups, group homes Ð anywhere young women meet. The workshops are facilitated entirely by trained, dedicated volunteer women who are valuable role models.
Each girl has her own participant's workbook, and a facilitator's manual is provided to each volunteer. A 19-minute Life prints video also helps with training and promotion.
