The Arts & Heritage Alliance (AHA!) was formed in 1994 by the professional arts and heritage managers/administrators working in Thunder Bay. AHA!’s mission is to "promote co-operation, awareness, and the development of partnerships within the arts and heritage community of Thunder Bay."
The membership of AHA! consists of the principal staff person from each organization. Membership has also been extended to professionals working in arts and heritage agencies, i.e. City Recreation/Arts & Heritage Committee; Ministry of Citizenship, Culture & Recreation, Confederation College; and the Ontario Arts Council.
AHA! members meet monthly or as often as needed to share information and resources, communicate new ideas, discuss partnership opportunities, express and gauge mutual concerns, and explore new ideas in an open and supportive environment.
